I was a born again Fundamentalist Christian for seventeen years...went to church, Bible studies, and Sunday School four times a week during those years. I know where you're coming from, but since I'm a "Free Spirit" now, I disagree with the label "bad book".

Dear family in christ,

Man! Time goes by so fast. I haven't done a journal entry in over a month. Sorry to keep my fans at the edge of their seat, waiting to see what im gonna write next. I am back, and with exciting news for you all.

The first thing I want to tell you all about is the Bible study. If had mentioned I started a bible study in my journal entry entitled "Reaching my campus", so if you want to know more about starting the bible study, just read the entry. My first bible study was on Tuesday, October 18th. The first meeting went very well. 7 people from my school came, a better turn out then I would have thought. It amazes me how much time we spend worrying about if anybody is gonna show up to a bible study, when God proves himself time after time again. I mean, we worry about something as small as that, when God has to worry about something so big as his own creation going to hell. That was what came into my mind after the first meeting. Basicly, the first meeting was fellowship. We got to know each other more, and stuff like that.

The second meeting, (The meeting is every tuesday) we talked about worry/fear and how it keeps us from being inside the will of God, and how satan can use that against God. This meeting went well. 6 people showed up. We still had a good time talking, praying, and all that good stuff

The third meeting, 6 showed up again. We basicly just decorated some signs for the bible study and put them up all around the school. I am hoping it will draw peoples attention.

Please pray that this bible study will be successful and bring many to our precious Jesus. Let's pray together that this will get christians from talking the talk to walking the walk! Lets thank Jesus! Believe in those things that be not as though they were!

In the matchless name of Jesus,

                                     Mike

I can relate...as I'm sure any Christian can, who is taking on the initiative to start something in this nature.

I'm sure you hear it said all the time: "If certain people are meant to be there, and ministered to - They will!" God is the one opening the doors of opportunities; (Although I admitt, sometimes it's a very frustrating experience!)

I'm glad that God is choosing to use you in this way...Just imagine the impact you can have (for God) to those 6 or 7 people...

Also, did you know that 6 - 8 people is actually the 'ideal' size for small groups? Anymore than that, and it compromises the 'openess' people have...

Anyway, I'll be sure to keep this avenue of ministry in prayer.

May God continue to bless you!

Corina
